As an avid reader, How to Read a Book helped me rediscover a more intentional way of reading. It also highlighted the thought authors put into every detail, from the index to the table of contents. I’ll be approaching books differently from here on out.

My dad worked two jobs to help pay my mom’s way through law school, after she started her own firm and became a big shot she in turn paid for both his aerospace engineering degrees. They been together since high school. (40 years)

My mom got my dad out of debt, he taught her how to invest. They both pursued entrepreneurship together and own 12 properties together now and retired my mom. My dad only works bc he wants to. Lmfaoo that’s the example I had growing up

People compliment my intelligence, and while I appreciate it, I don’t think it’s anything innate. A lot of it comes from researching and teaching myself. I’ve never been comfortable taking things at face value, I prefer to question, learn, and understand things on a deeper level.

I’ve shifted my career like 4 times already in the decade between ages 21-31 and I’m about to shift again. U definitely don’t have to have everything figured out in ur 20’s and it’s okay to pivot ! Just be strategic with it.
