@Astronomikal1 bro this is why i say as “cool” as people think networking is, it’s way too complex to stay here for the pay rates. Like, it’s too demanding for them to not pay more but that’s just the market. So i gotta get up out of here.

Giving someone with a decade of experience $150k just crazy to me.

anyway, somebody just reached out about a fully remote cloud network engineer role. They want 8-10 years of experience tho and hella security experience (which i have). Then had the nerve to say they don’t know what the pay range is. I said $150k - $190k sounds reasonable.

@kennnmorrison Good luck. If you can work on a lot of different systems, that's even better. The current Sys Admin we have is coming from a school district that was more Google heavy. Now he finna touch a whole bunch of stuff, and we are Microsoft LOL. He finna get this work!
