@CodyMinor620 @JossDuard Well, it’s done but I wouldn’t be surprised if, sorry John, they have a backup plan. I still think it’s a fumble on their part, though I can’t imagine it didn’t come up, to not have tried to get Jude Law back. Perhaps they considered it, perhaps it’s unrealistic schedule wise.

@JossDuard And John Lithgow is an extremely talented actor. I just don’t want to see the show in the same situation that required the films to recast Dumbledore with Michael Gambon after Richard Harris died.

@JossDuard I’m thinking about the fact that John Lithgow is 80. I’m not saying they should rush the series. I’m saying they should consider the fact that the actor they cast as Dumbledore, there’s no guarantee he’ll be alive to finish the series.

I’m saying Hans is actually protective of John’s music in the sense that he doesn’t feel one can rewrite John’s music and add synths over it, because he doesn’t feel it could work that way. It’s why he didn’t use John’s Superman theme in MOS.

Idk man this does absolutely nothing for me. Very stiff, sterile looking, lacking in awe, wonder, magic. Feels wrong seeing the Wizarding World without hearing Williams' theme. Happy for the kids though. Seemed to have nailed the casting for the trio.

@B1693 I've loved the films since as far as I can remember. I love the books. Are the films perfect? No, but they did their job in translating the story to the big screen. That being said, I am willing to give this version of the story a chance because I love the story.

The show will just me another way to enjoy a story that I have loved for as long as I can remember. There's nothing wrong with having multiple ways to enjoy a story.
