When recruiting turns into an alumni event. Great to see Coe T&F alumnus Trevor Eckols (Coe '22) at the IATC meet with his team today. Trevor (left) teaches Biology at North High School in Des Moines, IA and is the Head Girls Track & Field Coach there.

We have been fortunate to have great assistant coaches over the years at Coe and we couldn't be more excited to add Drake Woody to our staff as a full-time assistant. He is going to be a great addition to our team!

Great crew for an open track session tonight with highly motivated T&F athletes from Coe, Wartburg & Saint Ambrose. Our upcoming open track sessions for local T&F athletes home for winter break are Fri. (Dec. 19) and Mon. (Dec. 22) at 5:30pm. $10 per person.

Women's XC made it a Coe sweep of the team titles at Webster University in St. Louis by placing 1st out of 8 teams! Lily Mayo earned the individual title, out-kicking 2nd place for a five second victory!

Webster University Opener team champions! 1st out of 8 teams down in St. Louis with four freshmen in our top seven making their collegiate debuts. Proud of our guys for thriving in 87 degree temps at race time.

Huge honor for recent Coe Men's T&F alumnus, Chris Baker! Chris's athletic career at Coe included a conference championship, three trips to the national championships, and two All-American honors. He is also Coe's school record holder in the weight throw & hammer throw.

Happy 100th birthday to Coe T&F alum Marv Levy! Coach Levy (Coe '50) excelled in both football & T&F as an athlete at Coe. He went on to coach the Buffalo Bills to 4 Super Bowl appearances in 1990, 91, 92 & 93. Coach Levy was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.

Coach Mourer was a Coe alumnus by way of his masters degree and coached at Coe for 7 XC seasons from 2009-2015. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, his team, and all of the athletes he coached at both Coe & Allegheny during his career. He had a lasting impact on many.

Chris graduates from Coe as a school record-holder, conference champion, 2x all-conference honoree, 2x All-American and 3x national qualifier. Congratulations to Chris on an outstanding college career as a Kohawk!

For the first time in the 128-year history of the Coe Men's XCTF program we have had national qualifying performances in 4 consecutive seasons! We still have a long way to go to reach our goals as a program, but we are proud to be venturing into uncharted territory on our climb.
