Oh man, my my!! Today is a really sad day, especially for Canadian bitcoiners. CanadianBitcoins is closing down. 🥺💔 I watched James build his business from the ground up, one block at a time, no pun intended, but yeah, it kinda fits perfectly. His exchange was literally the second one I used after CaVirtex, (if you know you know) back in those early Wild West days when everything felt raw and unpredictable. Then James showed up and changed the game for so many of us here in Canada. He taught me a tremendous amount in those formative years, practical insights, patience through volatility, and a real sense of community in what was still a pretty niche space. I’m genuinely blessed to have crossed paths with him and learned from his example. I even had the chance to meet James and his team once or twice. They were hands-down the most down-to-earth, genuinely friendly crypto folks I’ve ever encountered, and trust me, I’ve met my share over the years. James, I wish you all the best in whatever comes next. I sincerely look forward to seeing you back in the game one day. You’re the fucking man. ❤️
