I despise swift. Apps used to be 10MB tops written with objective-c. Now they’re reaching 800MB. Something made to make developer’s coding time faster, falls right onto the consumer.

Also, where the fuck is the iOS20 something jailbreak. It’s been way too long, saurik, or coolstar or geohot we need you,. A community is dying.

Just was shut down before i was able to roll out that update. Maybe shit would be different if i had been faster

So the way it worked, my tweak ran and analyzed every snap opened, if it was deemed a nude before it was opened, it wouldnt show the save button. Ha. Good times

I will say, i was working on a portion of Phantom with @Philiptennion or whatever his handle is to detect nudes and delete the save button if a nudes was detected. (Before ai) but snap bought an entire security company to shut me down

Fun fact, today is also Phantom’s birthday. We’d celebrate it together. Anybody remember the popup for it when you launched snap?

So when i pay one of my bills (and its been years later), i think of the lives i destroyed. I made bank, but it was blood money.. Cuz retrospectively, id rather have lived a simpler life myself working a 9-5. To think someone could have kts because a nude was leaked cuz of me :/

That’s only one example. People created a market of “snap packs” to fake who they were and catfish people to get nudes. I couldn’t control what people did with my tweak, but knew what people were doing. And that’s the shit i have to live with every day.

So since this topic had come up. Phantom was lowkey a great disaster. It made me money yes. BUT. It destroyed peoples lives. For instance, someone i knew used it (a huge addict) saved snaps of the mother of his child going to a club and drinking to gain custody when he was a POS

@davin_val I regret everything! Ngl i think of the harm i caused for other people & have to live with that i guess. Im sure my app had destroyed a life or two. And for that, im deeply apologetic for them. More harm than good i suppose

There ought to be a rule at apple for apps to support old iOS/tvOS versions. “download the most compatible version of this app” ha. Then told to update when you open it. 🤯
