As callous as it sounds risk occurs in our daily life. Shall we all walk around wearing zorb balls? My point is that if the measures go too far, they will be ignored which does not benefit anyone.

Here is the evidence that the Vision Zero strategy of @Essex_CC @Hirst4EssexPFCC @EssexPoliceUK @SaferEssexRoads is failing.
@CllrKBentley has the power to reverse this and get Vision Zero back on track by making 20mph the default speed limit in built up areas across Essex.

Stage 6 of the Vuelta starts from INSIDE a Carrefour supermarket. Cats are going to be lining up in the cereals aisle, next to the Golden Grahams & the Frosties… Am not even kidding - the press release just went out.

@ColCivicSociety @yourcolchester Would be great to see some “authorised” decoration of all the grey boxes around - these traffic counters, telecoms cabinets etc. perhaps it would discourage graffiti and make the place more vibrant!

Today's Gazette articles on bike thefts in Colchester. This can't go on. Police need to be more pro-active and raid known outlets where they end up. Police & Council need to get more cameras up + make arrests & Council must provide more secure bike storage.
