More kids need to fail. I shouldn’t have parents and admin blowing up my phone and email the last week of school asking about 15 kids and wondering how we can get that 36% up to a 60% in 4 days

@ColeSwanwick Teachers shouldn't have that power in the first place. The students sit a test or complete a moderated assessment and the teacher just marks where it is at. The result is the students not the teachers.

@ColeSwanwick I lost my last job coaching and teaching at a large private school because I had a student making a 73, Mom wanted his grade changed, and when I didn’t change it she went after my teaching and coaching jobs.

A lot of high schools could win more games if they ran the flexbone, wing t, single wing, dead t, etc. IMHO, I think politics play too big of a role and community won’t support it.

@Doc_Brown_FS Do they hold the same resentment for the HS coaches who put their best athlete at QB, even though it's very unlikely he has the tools to play QB at the next level and will likely switch to receiver if he plays offense at all?

I like how some people think somehow it goes down with some recruiter like:
"I see you're 6'3 220 lbs with a 4.4 40 time with good hands, man it's too bad you played WR in the Wing T. I'm gonna go recruit that 5'9 170 lbs receiver that ran a 5.1 because he played in the spread

I’ve seen a lot of coaches bashing the wing-T/Slot T/single wing offense the last couple of days citing “It hurts player development.” Just so everyone is aware you know that Cam Ward who was the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft two years ago ran the Wing-T in high School right?

Wing T & Single Wing Coaches Run That Scheme Because That’s What They’re Comfortable With. How many single wing or wing t teams are there in the NFL/ College ? It was never about the kids getting to the next level. It was about winnings games for them.

The quality of football has decreased astronomically since the spread became as popular as it is.
Everything from basic fundamentals to how kids view the game has just dropped off a cliff. Not to mention how entitled and selfish coaches and kids act today
