Had to take care of the garden here on Tatooine. I'm not going to breathe in smoke if I don't have to. I know some can't wear masks. I know some still have obligations that take them outside. I know people will still tell me they can't wear a mask or have to be outside...I get it. If you don't HAVE to be outside, I wouldn't. If you can wear an N95 Mask, I SUGGEST you do.

Today marks 12 years since FSU law professor Dan Markel was gunned down in broad daylight in his Tallahassee driveway.
In the years since, five people have been convicted: hitmen Luis Rivera and Sigfredo Garcia, intermediary Katie Magbanua, Dan’s former brother-in-law Charlie Adelson, and former mother-in-law Donna Adelson.
The question many continue to ask is whether justice is complete, or whether future charges involving Wendi Adelson and/or Harvey Adelson are necessary before this case truly reaches its conclusion.
But today is first and foremost about remembering Dan Markel. A brilliant legal scholar, devoted father, beloved son, brother, colleague, and friend whose life was stolen far too soon. He succumbed to his injuries the day after the shooting, leaving behind two young sons and countless loved ones.
May Dan Markel’s memory forever be a blessing.

I didn't realize how distorted my perception of money had become until I started losing it. When you're constantly dealing with huge numbers, you stop appreciating what they actually represent. Some people work an entire year and still struggle to save $20,000. Life is brutal.

He filed a 9 page "informational materials" attachment to his filing, which is a high-level training manual for a longterm US social media campaign on behalf of the communist state. It lays out a longterm strategy to win hearts and minds for communist Cuba. It's useful to help identify these tactics when they are used against us. I recommend you read the screenshots. I found it very informative. Here are some highlights: It instructs which terms to avoid and to use instead: "Do not use 'regime,' 'dictator,' 'failed state.' Choose our own words: 'leadership,' 'the next generation,' 'the Cuban people.'" It instructs the operative to "return every reply to a specific person. The woman in Holguin. The boy in Santiago. The grandmother in Pinar del Rio. The hardliner can argue with us. They cannot argue with her." It demands operatives be only respectful and to win hearts and minds with kindness: "Never attack... never use sarcasm... never claim moral superiority. The Golden Rule says we offer respect, not righteousness." This manual clearly does not describe a short term engagement. "This is not a strategy in the sense of a campaign that ends. It is identiy. It is who CubanConversation is, in every reply, every day, forever." @VicMellorForRI you claim you went to Cuba because "Cuba is about to open up, 100%." And you claim that, thanks to you and your relationship with the Castro dictatorship family, Rhode Island will become a trading partner with Cuba.
