@gavinesler Gavin, I have no idea. It all did make me angry, frustrated and the rest but my wife made it clear that if I didn’t stop talking about it I would lose a wife. Changed my life. I now read, shake my head and move on.

Ah yes another Brexit genius in Wonderland. What is astonishing is that as the country continues to be damaged the Brexit bunch survive and thrive (including jobs for life in the Lords). Any ideas why we tolerate this?

@g_gosden Who are all these weirdo’s pinging “She speaks for me.”. Why would they want to be associated with such an obvious liar? It’s like carrying a board saying “I am thick!”.

We’re trying to get as many followers as Rishi Sunak so we can show the government just how many people are prepared to fight for the NHS and its staff. Please can you help by following us and retweeting this?

The 127-year-old snowball fight in Lyon, France, took place in 1896 and was captured on black and white film by Louis Lumiere. In that same year, several significant events occurred: Coca Cola was sold for the first time in Atlanta, Georgia; gold was discovered in Yukon, Canada, sparking the Klondike gold rush; the first international Olympic Games were held in Athens, Greece; and the Plessy v. Ferguson ruling upheld racial segregation in the United States under the doctrine of "separate but equal." Other notable events in 1896 include the devastating Sanriku earthquake in Japan, the first unofficial college basketball game, and Svante Arrhenius' theory linking rising carbon dioxide levels to temperature increases. Additionally, it marked the first time a speeding ticket was issued to a driver in England, and Nicholas II became the last tsar of Russia. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was also published for the first time, featuring twelve stocks that are no longer part of the current index.

@campbellclaret Words can’t describe how low these people have shrunk. That they do this in our name rubs salt in it. Salt? Or do I mean shit?

Despite its high readership figures, The Sun is the least trusted newsbrand in the UK according to a recent Yougov survey. A spox said: "...we are proud of our record of standing up for our readers, and campaigning on their behalf." pressgazette.co.uk/media-audience…

ABSOLUTELY SHAMELESS. Having confirmed fair pay for NHS staff is NOT part of the Governments plan for retention the Prime Minister (unchallenged) again doubled down on his rubbished claim paying them anything more than a crappy real terms pay cut will embed high inflation!

I just signed the petition demanding Liz Truss is denied a resignation honours list. 49 days in office should not justify her getting to promote her friends to a lifetime seat in the Lords. Will you sign too? you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/liz-… via @38degrees
