@AntMill5 @TonyBellew We were a point above the drop zone and playing awful football when he arrived. It took him weeks to take away the very real fear that we might go down just as we move to the new stadium. And almost immediately he had us playing more enjoyable football after a grim few months.

@TonyBellew Moyes has done a good job. But how many points have Ipswich + Leicester got since January? Can count them on 1 hand. We'd have stayed up even with Dyche. Remarkably, we could still even end up finishing 17th and be about 20 points clear.. would that still be a good result?

@LCRMayor @EvertonStadium The stadium is fantastic, Steve, but there is no room for complacency about the transport arrangements. It is horribly difficult for fans. As a priority, can you please look at measures to ease the traffic congestion so shuttle buses and taxis can run more quickly?

Over half of today’s @EvertonStadium test event attendees used the city region’s transport network —500 by ferry, 2,000+ on shuttles, and 12,000+ by train. From the Transport Coordination Centre earlier, Steve thanked fans for their patience and staff for their hard work.

@CBeesleyEcho @ConnorOn95 It was my first visit yesterday too, Chris. Absolutely stunning stadium, and a worthy successor to Goodison. I do worry about transport though. Had to walk both ways yesterday after shuttle buses got stuck in jams. At 69 this is unlikely to be a long term option for me!

I'm with @ConnorOn95 on this. Having attended a game at the new Everton Stadium for the first time he believes the Blues' future home will be up to the task of replicating that bear pit Goodison atmosphere. The same fans will be there plus a third more. liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…
