Steere and Boardman tell me they recovered nearly 500 sets of remains. I'm sure you've been following all the great work @dodpaa has done in ID'ing Ploesti Unknowns.

@HerbertHistory @DrSarahMyers @ColinColbourn @LukeTruxal The details about looking for the downed B-24 in Hungary are super interesting, @ColinColbourn. I corresponded a bit with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency a bit about what materials they got from Romania about airmen lost there.

As I mentioned to @LukeTruxal and @DrSarahMyers on @HerbertHistory's #HATM podcast this week, in 2018 we conducted a @ProjRecover investigation in Lake Balaton, Hungary. Here, we are getting depth measurements and sending a GoPro down on some paracord to examine mud and silting.
