We can’t say with certainty the exact year this was taken, but it was all in place and running beautifully in 1984, the same year as this awesome map. It shows the physical relationship of the three rides.

Disney animators mapped out the scene in #Bambi where the young prince takes his first walk! I don't recall if this is totally 1:1 with how the final film turned out, but it's always great seeing the amount of planning and detail put into these productions!

@SatisfactualSte I share something vintage: every darkride stunt from Bill Tracy. Especially the "Knit-Wit", the "Headslinger", the "Last Drop", and the "Boiled Butler." Primative by today's standards, but full of classic charm of a bygone era.

Storyboards for a deleted scene from #WinnieThePooh and the Honey Tree where his friends keep him company with a picnic. Being stuck means Pooh can't actually eat any of the tempting food. There's also a cut scene after Gopher's second visit where he swells up in the rain.

Ignoring the general stupidity of this statement, it's well known among animation historians that Sleeping Beauty was a massive box office bomb that ended Disney's Silver Age and the reason why Walt became more hands off with the animation studio in the last years of his life.

When Sleeping Beauty came out in 1959, less than 4% of Americans were “non-religious.” Now it is over 25% & something of this level of beauty seems impossible to be made today. When you realize these two things are related, it changes everything.

Mysterious #WhoFramedRogerRabbit concept art found on iCollector. While the site says it's meant for the movie, it looks more to me like it was for one of the attractions for the unbuilt "Roger Rabbit's Hollywood" section meant for MGM Studios.
