Happy Easter. I’ve grown very fond of this small painting over the past couple of years; one of very few C20th paintings in the Hall’s wonderful collection. But we must get around to correcting the attribution @artukdotorg soon which has a misleading d in the artist’s surname.

@BBCDorset Seems odd. The remains of the statue are in Shaftesbury not Dorchester, and Claire Ryley is a trustee of Shaftesbury Abbey not Dorset County Museum.
