Jeremy: "Do Palestinians have the right to attack Israeli soldiers?" Ro: No Jeremy: "Does Israel have a right to drop a single bomb on Gaza?" Ro: Yes This is really the ball game
Spooky Scary Socialist@SpookySocialist

Watching Jeremy Scahill make Ro Khanna visibly uncomfortable by needling his support for Iron Dome and condemnation of the Palestinian Resistance was a great start to the day Wish there were more principled left voices holding politicians accountable for their liberal Zionism

X can be a strange place. People routinely circulate falsehoods, which sometimes go viral. FACTS: (1) I am NOT the chairman of Rules. (2) McConnell is the chairman of Rules. (3) If McConnell stepped down, under the Senate Rules, Deb Fischer would be the next chairman of Rules. Moreover, I am an original sponsor of the Save America Act and am fighting tooth & nail to force a talking filibuster and pass it. We need to PASS IT NOW!
@Chicago1Ray 🇺🇸@Chicago1Ray

IT'S GO TIME 🚨 Ted Cruz is now chairman of rules, he has the auth to -Schedule mark-up session -Propose Amendments -Move to report the bill to the floor -Placing the (SAA) on the calendar -Cruz can push for rules changes In short.. Cruz can box Thune in a corner One thing is certain, when Thune put McConnell in rules, he thought that McConnell would be the guardrail... @tedcruz has the authority to get the Save America Act back in the discussion.... let's stay on them... let's go

Oh Max. All you have is lies. I can’t wait for you to go to prison. You better hope there’s a police report or evidence for that fake sexual assault claim, or I’ll sue you for defamation and then I’ll get discovery and find out who is funding you. But I think the FBI is already on that, from what I heard.

The DOJ has been completely penetrated by sympathizers and supporters of Islamic jihad. This is very dangerous. Why is anyone at the DOJ leaking sealed indictments to Max Blumenthal, who was just in Iran for Khamenei’s funeral? @DAGToddBlanche

You’re all looking at the influencer issue wrong. Jews never had numbers. It’s not numbers and influence that will ensure we endure. It’s identifying our enemy and thwarting our enemy. I’ll leave you to work out what I mean.

"The British people are not taught the dark history of our responsibility for this mess." Speaking at a mass march in central London on Saturday, Scottish historian William Dalrymple delivered a powerful speech condemning Britain’s historic and ongoing role in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. The demonstration, marking the 77th anniversary of the Nakba, drew an estimated 600,000 people who marched to Downing Street in solidarity with Palestine. Speaking near Downing Street, he highlighted the British Empire’s role in disarming Palestinians, enabling the 1948 catastrophe expulsion of 750,000 people, and the dehumanising views of figures like Winston Churchill. He also brought to attention today’s UK government of enabling Israel’s genocide in Gaza through military and diplomatic support — including over 500 Royal Air Force surveillance flights allegedly aiding Israeli war crimes. Dalrymple called out UK politicians for supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza while denouncing the silence of institutions like the BBC, and urged Britain to take responsibility by supporting Palestinian statehood and justice.

In March Hegseth promised: "If you kill Americans.. anywhere on earth we will hunt you down.. and we will kill you" Unless the American is killed by Israelis in the occupied West Bank, in which case we'll do nothing while we continue arming your killers.
Jeremy Diamond@JDiamond1

One year after Saif Musallet - an American citizen - was killed by settlers, his father made the dangerous journey to the site where he was beaten to death. Within minutes, Israeli settlers armed with clubs, rocks & a knife descended on us. 4 settlers were arrested, but Saif's killer still roams free. His father Kamel says the US gov't has failed his son.

With regard to "Judeo Christian": The 10 Commandments are Jewish. The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish. The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery. The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy. The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West. This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable. And remember, you proud "Christians" objecting in all your purity to the term: Christ Himself was a Jew.
Wes Huff@WesleyLHuff

So much noise online regarding the term "judeo-Christian." Guys -- in academia it's simply the term that describes the combined corpus of Old and New Testaments. The Jewish heritage of the Hebrew scriptures combined with the New Testament. That's it. I know you want there to be some conspiracy but there isnt, that's the way we're using it. It has nothing to do with geo-politics or a one world order.

@caitoz Adjusting your self perception from anti establishment rebel to hapless dupe is a mental leap most people can never make. All they can do is double down. We have to think of them as recovering cult victims.

The Church of England @synod is back to spreading antisemitism again. But we need to do more than shout. Jewish orgs should break all ties. No interfaith. No meetings. Just tell them we don't break bread with antisemites. And close the door until they drop the Jew hate.

The hypocrisy of Spain is staggering. In 1492, they expelled and killed their Jewish population. During the Holocaust, they aligned with the Nazis. Today, after the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, they accuse Israel of "genocide." Some European nations have learned absolutely nothing from history. Israel will survive, with or without their approval!

Nobody is telling you how FUCKED the "just buy an AC" playbook just became. Everyone in Europe is doing the same thing every heat wave. Buy a unit. Plug it in. Pray about the electricity bill. Nobody is talking about the fact that China just made that entire response look primitive. Rooftops across Shanxi province. Mist nozzles engineered to spray droplets so fine they evaporate before they ever touch the ground. → Trigger point: 35°C, fully automatic → Result: 5 to 8°C drop in surrounding air → Timeframe: minutes → Cost basis: shared public infrastructure, not a $400 unit per household One residential complex in Yuncheng, Shanxi is already running this for over 1,000 households. 💀 Here's what nobody is explaining to you: This isn't a gadget. It's a public utility for temperature. → Bus stops in Chongqing — mist-cooled → Public squares in Beijing — mist-cooled → Public squares in Wuhan — mist-cooled → Sichuan construction sites — already running the same system Europe's solution scales one home at a time. China's solution scales one ROOFTOP grid at a time. Evaporative cooling isn't new. It's textbook thermodynamics, decades old, used at the 2008 Beijing Olympics for exactly this reason. What's new is that a government funded the rollout at city scale before a single policy paper justified it. There's a real constraint here — this works best in drier air, under roughly 60% humidity, which is why Shanxi is the proving ground and not the humid south. Every nozzle runs on sensors, using just 4 to 5 liters an hour, only when it's actually needed. Nobody has to negotiate a heat wave with a landlord over an AC unit here. The city just built the fix into the roof. This isn't an appliance upgrade. It's the end of the AC-only era for public heat response. Bookmark this. You're watching the biggest shift in urban cooling since the Olympics tried it in 2008. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

Ursula von der Leyen said she would explicitly raise the issue of “the massive influx of surplus Chinese products into Europe.” Meanwhile, Chinese air conditioners are seeing a frenzy of demand in the European market, with demand far exceeding supply. China’s response was simple: trade is voluntary exchange, and consumers are capable of making their own judgments. Europe should abandon its zero-sum mentality. At this point, Europe’s decline is not a mystery. It cut off cheap Russian energy in the name of ideology. It weakened its own energy autonomy. It watched Biden’s subsidies pull industry toward America. It got hit by Trump’s tariff war. It lived off old industrial prestige for decades while refusing to update, compete, or scale. And now it turns around and barks at China: Why are you producing so many affordable, high-quality goods? Why are Europeans buying them? Why are Chinese companies making money? Nobody forced European consumers to buy Chinese air conditioners, fans, EVs, solar panels, batteries, appliances, or electronics. They bought them because the goods are useful, affordable, and competitive. That is called a market. If Europe wants to win, it can produce better products at better prices and sell them to China. Europe tried before. Did China scream about European car overcapacity? Did China call Nokia’s dominance in China’s telecom market an existential threat? Did China consider Siemens a market monopoly? Did China accuse every successful Western brand of “flooding” the market? No. Because China competed. Europe does not want competition anymore. It wants moral protection for industrial failure. China did not force Europe to become expensive, slow, dependent, and complacent. Europe did that to itself. Now Chinese factories are making what Europeans need, and Brussels calls that a crisis. But China’s production capacity is not Europe’s problem. Europe’s problem is that it can no longer build what its own people need at prices they can afford.

The worst world cup ever by the USA. Can you imagine if China were hosting the world cup and did all these things Trump/US did: - China's president called Infantino to complain about FIFA rules and change them - Xi plans to bother and celebrate trophy lift with players  - Prices for tickets most expensive ever - Teams had to stay in Japan and fly to China before each matchday - Fans couldn't enter China for 'security reasons' - Xi won a made up 'FIFA peace prize'  - Security holding up top footballers from 'risky' countries wherever they go But in reality, China hosted two olympics before and were really affordable and successful, more and more people are now coming to China visa free from around the world unrestricted. In fact, here's a bar where thousands of fans from around the world go to in Shanghai (very international city) to watch the World Cup.. seems way better!!

Just listen to this woman. I'm already sick and tired of all this Ukrainian nonsense. It's some kind of farce," a German explained in two minutes how the EU's sanctions against Russia have affected ordinary Europeans and who has turned out to be the main beneficiary. Money laundering. Everything just went round and round, over and over again. Everyone was happy. In the end, a million Ukrainians died. Germans are paying 40 to 80 percent more for energy. And they hate Putin. And they keep playing this game. Kallas, Ursula,it's a damn game. Germans are buying energy from America at ever-higher prices, and they are effectively heading toward bankruptcy. And America gets this energy from India, and India gets it from Russia. Russia, Russia. I'm already fed up with all this Ukrainian nonsense. It's some kind of farce. I wish Germans understood this. But most Germans still don't get it. They say, 'Oh, Ukraine. Oh, Ukraine, please.' I also feel sorry for the Ukrainians, but this has to stop. Is America trying to destroy Germany? America doesn't care about Germany. It has been using Germany for many years, since 1945. Even before that. Germany had cheap LNG, gas, and energy. Under Angela Merkel and Putin, they were very close. I hope you don't cut this. They were best friends until 2014. Then came the alleged CIA-organized coup in Kyiv, in which Victoria Nuland participated. Look it up yourself. Then came Biden, Burisma, profits, and money laundering. Germany was doing very well, but now it is all going down the drain.
