@RyanMorasiewicz@NSRescue@EagleEyesSearch It will also be usable in a SAR scenario to scan and identify persons, footprints or any other anomaly both visually and IR
@NSRescue drones doing some cool stuff with @EagleEyesSearch
I’m one of the Transport Canada certified advanced pilots. It’s cool and very useful in the right circumstances.

@RyanMorasiewicz@kimc555 Contour has two aircraft equipped for HETS servicing the Fraser Valley from our Fort Langley base, we would be happy to keep one local with agreements in place
@kimc555 Hmm, very roughly: Talon would have a winch and a HETS machine in the western mainland, Valley would have 1 HETS in eastern mainland, Contour wound have a HETS in the middle, Ascent would have a winch on the Island, and Blackcomb would have a winch and a HETS in Sea to Sky
So… is there like only one helicopter available for SAR (or available for HETS) in the entire Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island this long weekend? Sea to Sky?
@RyanMorasiewicz I had mine replaced under the recall. brand new transceiver shipped to me overnight with no fees attached. They sent me a shipping label to return my old one
@freshsqueezed@lithohedron Helicopter specific, as a transport Canada approved operator we have an ops spec which permits down to 1/2 mile vis with training. Contour Helicopter’s location allows immediate response to SAR calls without delays caused by ATC or SVFR requests
‘This is a cover-up’: Poilievre shows us some of the 5,000 ‘unsealed’ WE Charity documents.
Blacked out documents, committees canceled, parliament shut down. No accountability. This is disgusting @JustinTrudeau
It's about time that our authorities demonstrated that Canada is a country that respects the rule of law.
Allowing mob rule to override the express democratic wishes of First Nations is unacceptable, and it has to end.
