🎂 Happy 60th birthday to @OfficialHarwich legend Ian Brown, who scored 70 goals in 176 appearances for the Shrimpers between 1985 and 1991. ⚽️ Ian went on to play in the Football League for Bristol City, Northampton and Colchester.

🗓️ 10 years ago today, after a summer of turmoil which saw a drop into Border League Division 1, @OfficialHarwich opened their season by beating @GosfieldUtd1908 2-0. ⚽️ A 20-yarder from Richard Traynor (@Richard_T_efc) and a Chris Stratton (@Strattss) header earned the Oak win.

@OfficialHarwich The crowds at Harwich and parkeston FC have always been great and make a massive difference to the team. Season tickets are great value and averages about 4 pound a match.The ground and facilities are continually improving to make your visits even more enjoyable .

As soon as season finishes volunteers are at ground every day/week painting; strimming; pitch maintenance etc etc without these people ground would be like picture.
