@heyitkb @ScottHamilton84 I agree. Thanks goodness no one was injured. Maybe they are overbooking those venues. I'm sure the facilities people are under incredible pressure to to make it ready. I do remember a summer Olympics when gymnasts were falling because the set up was off.

So how much has the skating events been affected by the quality of the ice? It my understanding they share the arena with speed skating, pretty much back to back, which requires a different surface and that seems to be affecting the overall performance. So how/what being done to ensure it safe and the best quality for these athletes?
