LSU's 2026 roster valuation: $42.84M. $26.13M (61%) attributed to portal additions — the highest portal share of any roster we've valued this cycle. Starters, depth chart, and acquisition breakdown → collegefrontoffice.com/football/insig…

Quick clarification — CFO is a market-value estimate (what a player is worth in an open NIL market), calibrated against public deal reports where they leak. Most deals stay private, so we can't measure exact correlation with team spending — but the model isn't unmoored from real money. Not "what they deserve," not arbitrary.

@CollegeFrontOfc Nevermind just found the methodology page lol. Am I correct in understanding this is a proprietary estimation of players values not necessarily an estimation of what that player is actually receiving?

Appreciate that — and great questions. Methodology is fully public: collegefrontoffice.com/football/metho… Short version: returners and portal moves use market signal where available, recruits and unsigned roles use composite-based comps. Confidence is highest on starters with public deal anchors, lowest on backups and unsigned freshmen.

@CollegeFrontOfc I'm enjoying these, keep up the good work man. I'm curious if you can speak to the methodology you're using to come up with these numbers, and how confident you are in the valuation of each of these teams?
