Watching @asakemusik in that Asake Homecoming Documentary by @korty_EO, I noticed something deeper that many people might miss. From the very beginning, the way he made Korty EO feel comfortable… no tension, no forming, just natural energy. That alone says a lot. Because real power is not loud. Real power makes others feel at ease. You can also see clearly this is someone who puts God first. Not by shouting it, but by the way he carries himself. Calm spirit. No arrogance. Just grace. And that part humbled me🥺 Because making it in life is one thing, but not letting it change your circle is another level entirely. The fact that he has blown doesn’t mean he has forgotten his people. Still grounded. Still connected. Still himself. That’s how you know it’s not just hustle… it’s God. And then his love for his parents… that one is deep. You can tell everything he’s doing is not just for himself. There’s a level of respect, honour, and quiet gratitude there. In our culture, that matters. Because no matter how far you go, you don’t forget the people that raised you. That’s real wealth. And let’s even talk about culture. In a world where many people feel they have to switch up to feel important, he was still speaking Yoruba freely, proudly, comfortably. That right there is identity. That right there is confidence. Because when you truly know who you are, you don’t need to dilute yourself to fit in. At the end of the day, that video was more than a homecoming. It was a reminder that: You can grow without losing yourself. You can elevate without forgetting your roots. You can shine without making noise. And most importantly… when God puts you somewhere, you don’t need to force anything. It will show. @korty_EO did really good. I didn't even skip any part. She did well👏🏽
