It's worth noting that we ranked Alabama as our Poll Leader after the 2016 season, despite their head-to-head loss to Clemson in the CFP national championship.

Unfortunately significant injuries impact teams as much as head to head matchups and conference championships. You can’t ignore the impact the loss of Jordan Travis had on the Noles. Sucks..but big part of a teams final evaluation
