Argentina: Due to a change of circumstances we demand the immediate return of The Falkland Islands to Argentinian sovereignty UK: What change of circumstances? Argentina: We just beat England in the semi finals of the World Cup UK: It doesn’t work like that Argentina: Yes it does! UK: Go away

Argentina v England is important way beyond football. If Argentina wins tomorrow night, it’ll put real fire behind the demand for the Falklands. If England wins, that should put the lid on it — for now.

Scotland is an amazing country, great people, and the bulk of whom may have a joking rivalry with England but see us as family all the same. Worth remembering the nutters X amplifies aren’t representative of our sibling nation.

@CollieTalking @DonBorcegos @jrgtrrzz Malvinas were part of the Spanish kingdom's Virreynato del Río de la Plata. Such territory became part of the newly formed Argentina upon the Independence.

@CollieTalking @DonBorcegos @jrgtrrzz The UN disagrees with your statement. Also, Malvinas was already legally part of Argentine sovereign territory. Brits removed the Argentine government representative in 1933 without ever notifying Argentine government. That's the issue. Malvinas was invaded by the Brits.

@CollieTalking @alexlargs The majority of the soldiers of resistance to Vietnam were Khmer Rouge. Sihanouk might of been the public face but it was the Khmer Rouge who were still in charge on the ground, and it is their forces our guys were training.

After the Falklands, Thatcher sent a lot of the SAS who served to train Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge (famous for the killing fields and drop kicking newborns into walls). Also, we openly supported Pinochet. Theres nothing honourable about our foreign policy at this time.

It is interesting, that from an English perspective: Argentina sent an army to the Falkland Islands, so Britain naturally sent their own and defeated them. But for Argentina, Britain murdered children forced to the Falklands. Who sent them to the Falklands? Not us.

@CollieTalking @DonBorcegos @jrgtrrzz Moral right? It's not about moral rights. It's about legal rights whithin the accepted and implemented Western civilization doctrines of legality and sovereignty rights. Or maybe we should revert back to the absolute original settlers across the globe..
