The aircraft belonged to the US Navy's Electronic Attack Squadron 129 based at Whidbey Island, Washington. A spokesperson for Naval Air Forces, US Pacific Fleet, said the jets were performing an aerial demonstration when the crash occurred. The cause of the accident is being investigated. Fortunately, all four pilots survived the mid-air disaster as they ejected moments before the aircraft exploded on impact. Officials have confirmed that all four pilots are stable and there are no injuries on ground.
