“Speak softly and carry a big stick.” 🇺🇸🐎
Former President Theodore Roosevelt shares a warm moment with Arizona governor and Rough Rider veteran Alexander Brodie in 1910. This candid scene captures Roosevelt’s larger-than-life personality just after his famous African safari and European tour.
Fun fact: Theodore Roosevelt was the first sitting U.S. president to ride in an automobile, fly in an airplane, and dive in a submarine. He loved testing new technology and adventure alike. 📸✨

Rush hour, 1920s style. 🚗🌴
A sea of early automobiles stretches across Miami’s waterfront as America’s car culture exploded during the Roaring Twenties.
Fun fact: In the 1920s, Miami became one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. during the Florida land boom and traffic jams like this were already becoming a modern headache more than 100 years ago. 📸✨

A muddy road, towering evergreens, and a trusty 1921 Ford Model T near Lake Crescent, Washington. 🌲🚗
Long before highways and GPS, journeys like this were part adventure, part survival. especially in the Pacific Northwest wilderness.
Fun fact: The Ford Model T was nicknamed the “Tin Lizzie” and became the first car affordable enough for everyday Americans. By the 1920s, nearly half the cars in the world were Model Ts. 📸✨
