@MythThrazz I would 🙈if it were blockchain, but a good mix of everything else will keep me engaged. Cater to you.

Got my 500th verified follower! 🙌 (and crossed 1,3k followers total) which is wild, taking into account how random things I'm posting... Which means I just need to provide enough engaging content to amass around 3M impressions to start getting paid for using X 🤯 I'm wondering what should I post more about: - WordPress + performance ( something I'm passionate about and qualified to talk ) - Games ( something I'm passionate about, but don't have much time for ) - Personal life / blog ( bugs, bikes, fatherhood etc.) - Blockchain ( not cryptocurrencies, but actual use-cases I'd love to see implemented one day) - Unhinged thoughts/taunts/life-advice/philosophy - Wholesome content? I'll still do what I need/want in the end ( you can't CONTROL ME! 😂 ) but... I'm genuinely curious WHY are you following me in the first place?

@mattpocockuk The surprise is the point. You already know what you’d design. The value isn’t in the three outputs — it’s that one of them broke your prior and gave your brain something to react to instead of generate from scratch.

Every time I run /prototype on UI I think: "Should I really be burning tokens on 3 radically different UI designs every time?" And then every time, it gives me something that surprises me and the design ends up awesome

I asked Claude to help me write a joke for my 11 year old to send with her on her residential 😂 I think I'll leave that one...

@tetsuaki_hamano What is the “parser library remark”? Is this a tool you wrote or an existing package/repo somewhere? 🤔

Weekend experiment: I spent all day today building a converter from Markdown string to WordPress blocks. Thanks to the excellent parser library remark, it can convert virtually any Markdown format into blocks perfectly with very little code.

@ColorfulTones Your brand looks solid, but I noticed the website isn’t loading properly from my side. Might be worth checking the performance/settings.

Before you configure Claude Code or Codex, there's a more useful question: what *kind* of task is this? Plain prompts, Skills, and Agents aren't interchangeable. nomadigital.dev/ai-coding-tool…

@artpi @automattic Which is totally fine. I'm just confused by the messaging. All is good in the neighborhood. 😀

@artpi It's sounds like you're positing that WP's real value is its ecosystem (plugins, hosting, user management, rendering infrastructure) rather than Gutenberg specifically, which seems at odds with much of what I've heard come from @automattic , i.e. Gute/blocks are the future. 🤔

But, but, but why? The drive to make everything Markdown "for agents" is just outlandish. Would you use this? How? Why? 🤔
Artur Piszek@artpi

@WordPress or a Static Site Generator? Why not both? PushMD is a plugin that exposes a git remote from your wp-json. You an literally clone and push to your website. Agents love it!

Setting up a new Wix site = two different onboarding experiences and each has three unique options. That is six unique journeys to travel. Talk about decision fatigue! 🥵 How would you navigate this journey as a non-technical business owner, or even a technical person?

Never used Wix. Building a restaurant site in it anyway. Menus, ordering, reservations, payments — documenting everything honestly as I go. What broke for you? What do you wish you'd known first? #buildinpublic #webdev

WordPress folks, say hi to Sean and show him we’re still here. I rejoined Twitter last month wondering the same thing, and was amazed by how much of the WordPress community is still here. Very happy to be able to reconnect with so many of you. #WordPress

I left Twitter 12 years ago. I was knee-deep in the #WordPress space. I was part of the community in many ways. We all communicated on "here." Some of the same folks are still around. Some are long gone. I never left WordPress, but I wonder if this is still the place to be. 🤔

@SeanChDavis Hi Sean! I was on Twitter for years, but then I deleted my account about a year ago, and then set up a newer one. Glad to see more #WordPress folks around. Welcome back!

Oh well, off to bed. I think I'm just tired. Got so overwhelmed tonight and couldn't stop crying. Not sure what even triggered it but just sat here a sobbed a while. I have work. I have Bella. But, I don't know. I guess I just need sleep.

WordPress 7.0 drops May 20. Don't update your production site on release day. Better yet, test RC3 on staging now if you can. Once it ships, wait two weeks before touching production. Plugin compatibility gaps on release day are real. #WordPress nomadigital.dev/wordpress-7-0-…

I think I've finalized the curriculum for Cloudflare for WordPress, the next @within_wp course. What would you be missing if this was the curriculum?
