
Czech Minister of Defence Jaromír Zůna today visited Česká zbrojovka a.s. in Uherský Brod, one of the key partners of the Czech Armed Forces. During his visit, he met with the company’s leadership, namely Česká zbrojovka CEO Jan Zajíc, Colt CZ Group CEO Radek Musil and Commercial Director Jan Holeček. They discussed the current market situation, strategic direction, and projects strengthening the Czech Republic’s defence capabilities. The programme also included a tour of production facilities and a presentation of the company’s portfolio of firearms for armed forces. The Minister of Defence praised the company, stating: “As a former soldier, I have encountered your products throughout my life. It is great to have a globally competitive company in the Czech Republic. Your importance for our army, as well as for this region and the entire country, is undeniable.” The company’s leadership also expressed their appreciation for the support of industrial cooperation projects and export activities of the Czech defence industry, including support provided through the AMOS agency. Today, Česká zbrojovka supplies its products to armed forces in dozens of countries worldwide, with Ukraine representing a key market, where the company is implementing technology transfer and which is effectively becoming its second home market. The long-term partnership with the Czech Armed Forces and experience from real-world deployment enable Česká zbrojovka to further develop its products, deliver innovations for modern armed forces, and contribute to strengthening the country’s defence capabilities.
