Frankenburg joins UK defence leaders reinforcing Gulf air defence under Iranian attacks “We’ve put a huge amount of work into this – long hours, hard engineering, constant iteration – because our partners need a new kind of system: one that can be produced quickly, replenished continuously, and used at scale without breaking budgets when they’re under attack. That’s what we’re building together with our UK team and partners across the UK and the Middle East.” — Dan Hallett, UK Director, Frankenburg Frankenburg is part of a select group of UK defence companies working with government and regional partners to support Gulf states under sustained drone and missile attacks. Our Mark I is the world’s smallest and lowest-cost guided interceptor missile, built from commercially available components and engineered for localised, sovereign mass production. It is designed to cut intercept costs by more than tenfold and to be produced locally at the point of need. UK government press release: gov.uk/government/new… #WinTech

Frankenburg and BAE Systems partner to strengthen the UK missile industrial base We’ve signed an agreement with @BAESystemsplc to design and integrate warheads for our low‑cost, mass‑manufacturable missile systems, while jointly building resilient supply chains for the next generation of advanced missile technologies. BAE Systems is the UK’s largest defence company and a global prime spanning submarines, combat aircraft, shipbuilding and advanced munitions. The United Kingdom is a central pillar of Frankenburg’s growth, with a third of our missile engineering talent based here. Collaborating in the UK enables us to pair Frankenburg’s agile approach to missile innovation with the industrial depth and heritage of British defence manufacturing. This partnership reflects our model of producing systems close to where they will be used: shortening supply chains, supporting high‑value industrial jobs and reinforcing national capability. It also deepens our work together on emerging concepts and future systems already in development. Full announcement: frankenburg.tech/frankenburg-te… #WinTech

European missile industry convened to ramp up production in support of Ukraine Yesterday, 18 February, Frankenburg joined a high-level missile industry roundtable in Brussels brought together by Commissioner Andrius Kubilius, alongside CEO's of European manufacturers MBDA, Thales, Kongsberg, Diehl Defence, Saab and Mesko, as well as critical component suppliers from across the European supply chain. The focus was on the €60 billion support loan to Ukraine which will be deployed over the next two years, with missiles identified as a critical priority. A missile tour will follow, with government representatives visiting production sites to assess factory-level constraints. Frankenburg will take part, contributing through the scaling of affordable, mass-manufacturable missile systems designed for rapid industrial production. Thank you to Commissioner @KubiliusA for driving this effort. #WinTech

Frankenburg and Hanwha Aerospace agree to build affordable vehicle-based missile defence at scale We are building affordable missiles and mass production in a category where scale has not existed before. We do this because it is necessary – to equip the free world to win the war. Affordability is what ultimately enables scale, but scale does not arrive on its own. It has to be accelerated. Our agreement with Hanwha Aerospace is an important milestone on that path. Hanwha is one of the world’s leading land-systems primes, running one of the largest armoured vehicle programmes globally, and it is a privilege to work together. The joint development programme begins with an indicative scope of 100 launchers and 1,200 missiles for Korea’s next-generation command vehicle. This initial programme establishes a vehicle-based missile defence capability designed to be produced, deployed, and replenished at scale. Thank you to Mr. Jae-il Son, Mr. Dong-hyeon Kim and Mr. Wook Suh for driving this forward, and to Mr. @HPevkur for the continued trust and support. French national news channel @BFMTV examines drone warfare and preparedness in its Ligne Rouge investigation, featuring Frankenburg Mark I as the first truly mass-producible, fully guided missile system designed to counter Shahed-type drone saturation. Frankenburg CEO @KustiSalm: “Mark I already has a price comparable to that of a Geran-3 or Shahed drone. Once we ramp up the manufacturing tempo to hundreds of missiles per day, the cost will fall further, decisively shifting the economic advantage in the defender’s favour.” Ligne Rouge segment: youtu.be/PNiA2XLbMDE?si… #WinTech #MissileDefence

We were glad to welcome Latvian Minister of Defence @AndrisSpruds to Frankenburg. Latvia was the first to believe in our vision of affordable, scalable missile defence, and to act on it. That belief is now turning into real, sovereign capability, built in Latvia and contributing to Europe’s defence. Thank you for the trust and partnership. #WinTech #MissileDefence

Kusti Salm: “Sovereignty starts with what you can actually produce.” At 2026 #EDAConf, Frankenburg CEO @KustiSalm joined an on-stage panel discussion on the future of warfare, as Europe’s defence readiness priorities were outlined by leaders including @kajakallas and @KubiliusA. Sovereign air and missile defence is a core readiness priority for Europe. Frankenburg’s contribution is on the industrial side. We are building the missile systems and production logic needed to scale in practice: – Missile systems designed to be affordable, mass-manufacturable, and scalable at speed – Industrialised production and supply chains that can be localised and regenerated across Europe – A wider missile catalogue, built on the same production logic, spanning the SEAD spectrum: from counter-UAS today to air defence and precision strike over time This is the kind of industrial capacity Europe now needs to build, in cooperation across European industry and European nations. #WinTech #MissileDefence @EUDefenceAgency

We were glad to welcome Latvian Prime Minister @EvikaSilina and Minister of Defence @AndrisSpruds at Defence Industry Day 2026 in Riga. Latvia plays a central role in our mission to make advanced missile technology affordable and available for the defence of the free world. Our first missile system is being developed here in close cooperation with the Latvian Ministry of Defence and the National Armed Forces, and our first missile manufacturing capability is being established locally. By combining system development, industrial scale-up, and close cooperation with national partners, Latvia is helping set the pace for how critical sovereign defence capability can be built in Europe. #WinTech #MissileDefence @MoD_Latvia @Latvijas_armija

Frankenburg Mark I missile in a short-range air-defence engagement against a Shahed-type target The video shows the Mark I missile in a live-fire test, demonstrating: - Launch of a moving fixed-wing Class III target drone (200 km/h) - Target detection and tracking by an external sensor and C2 system - Mark I missile launch from a tripod system - Terminal guidance at high sub-sonic interceptor speed (exceeding 1,000 km/h) - Proximity-based warhead initiation and in-air target defeat - Controlled descent of target debris for range safety Missiles matter in defence for one simple reason: speed. Mark I uses a solid-fuel rocket motor to generate missile-class closing speed, enabling intercepts at short-range (<2 km). The system is intended to engage low- and slow-flying one-way attack drones with propellers (150–200 km/h), as well as faster targets using jet engines (450–600 km/h), including swarm-type systems. Mark I is the world’s smallest and lowest-cost guided missile, built from commercially available components and engineered for localised, sovereign mass production by Frankenburg Technologies. #Wintech
