There are lots of ______ Twitter Golf Twitter might be the toughest crowd of all of them. People who are unfailingly 100 % certain they know the rules of golf, how to produce it for tv, the players who are good/bad guys, best and worst courses and set ups. It’s a delight.

By definition an amateur is someone who engages in an activity, sport, or art for enjoyment rather than for money or as a full-time profession

Colt isn’t going to win the Am or Mid Am. I don’t disagree that a guy who had genuine professional success shouldn’t be playing in amateur events

Tomorrow should be a fun one! Burns looks in full control but we have seen guys go out early and shoot a low one! It could definitely happen again tomorrow! Burns and fox play quickly, could be a lot of waiting for the final pairing tomorrow! Can’t wait to see how it unfolds!

@MerionChuck @USGA @ColtKnost will be an amateur while he’s collecting payments from his pga tour pension / retirement program. In what world does that make sense? USGA needs to figure it out. Cant penalize kids for life for turning pro at 21 but there HAS to be some sort of a point of no return.
