Problem with preferring equal matchmaking over queue time is high elo players will just go on smurf accounts to be able to find games, so they will be playing at a far lower elo than their true elo, leading to less balanced games than just opening the matchmaking to a wider pool of players around your rank 🤷‍♂️

Genuine question - what would people prefer equal matchmaking, but longer queue times for extreme elo (Champs) or quicker but often uneven matchmaking?
