Hello there 👋 Here’s a summary: They’ve asked us to change all our social media accounts to use the official event email address. Then, they want us to share access with them. They’ve also requested that we temporarily disable any two-factor authentication (2FA) so they can gain access. All of this is mandatory and needs to be done by early November. Apparently, by doing this, all our accounts will be ‘kept safe.’ — End of summary - Until then, we’re not safe! Personally, I feel safe enough without sharing access with them, if you ask me.

So now they’re asking organisers to hand over #WordCamp social media accounts due to a 'security concern' (because, of course, we can’t protect our accounts). Can we stop this madness, please? I mean, now! #WordPress
