@mikejschaefer @HuskersMN Respectfully Mike, you're totally wrong to be, meh about what happened last Friday. Rhule made this team and expectations what fans are expecting. You are glossing this over as if it was just another loss. Not the team that had 9 sacks and leads the power 4 in sacks allowed.

Respectfully Jim this is a Nebraska team that in the last two years lost to Michigan State against an interim coach and lost at home to a UCLA team that was spinning its wheels most of the season. Minnesota was better than those teams. This kind of loss isn't new. Additionally I don't know that citing coaching experience against a Fleck staff of vets who have been in this series longer than Nebraska's staff means anything. If anything they're the experienced ones. The rest of it I fully understand. The anger and embarrassment is not misplaced. What does feel misplaced is the sentiment from some the season is doomed and suddenly Nebraska is exposed. This team didn't change and become dramatically worse or incapable. It lost a game that was always going to be a tough because of its position on the schedule. It played poorly. Now we find out how it responds.

The disconnect I see from the media to the fans is that it’s not that Nebraska lost (most fans predicted a 8-4, 7-5 season) it’s how they lost and to who. How a team of experienced coaches could be out-coached vs inexperienced coaches, how players could “not be ready to play” vs a team that you should want to beat more than anything, how they were dominated physically by a team that’s been dominated physically in their previous games. It was a total program failure that puts everything now in doubt.
