Farming is cool for young people! Through @SNVRwanda's YEA-R Project, funded by @MastercardFdn and implemented by @HoReCo_Rw, young women, men, and persons with disabilities are unlocking inclusive and sustainable opportunities in the horticulture and poultry value chains. As a consortium partner, we are proud to be among the implementers bringing this vision to life in @KarongiDistr, @MusanzeDistrict, @BureraDistrict, @NgororeroDistr, and @BugeseraDistr, contributing to 40,000 dignified jobs in Rwanda’s agri-food sector by 2029.

Great news for community farmers in @RwandaSouth! Since January 2026, @HoReCo_Rw, in collaboration with @RwandaAgriBoard, has expanded irrigation scheme management (Lot 2) across @NyanzaDistrict, @HuyeDistrict, @NyaruguruDistr, and @GisagaraDistr. This expansion is helping us reach more community farmers, increase productivity and resilience, and strengthen long-term food security.
