Random thought but how interested would you be if DC were to have Barry retire from the CCPD and become like a chemistry professor at CCU. I have a story idea that'd still utilise his detective skills just outside a law enforcement role and wanna gauge people's interest levels

@ComicsMeta @lilscantron But what’s also interesting about his CSI career to me is that he’s very much an oddball among the crime lab/pd, and if he’s like every other teacher ever, I would also find that less compelling.

A lot of teachers are very awkward around other adults/teachers but once they start talking about their subject they hit the ground running. That’s how I picture Barry, awkward and nerdy but so passionate about science it’s contagious

@ComicBookCorps_ @ComicsMeta That’s why it makes sense for him to be a professor. Professors are totally different, they tend to be hands off and have flexible schedules (good for Flash work). And seasoned professionals typically do teaching or mentorship work. It works.
