@DanGuy96 I wouldn't use exclusively designs from the superman animated show to prove a point that they arent the same since some have been around so long redesigns are bound to happen. It just so happens that every design here is awful monochromatic ambiguous tech sludge which sucks

@Trollingisfun4 @kenshirotism Im exaggerating but only slightly,the vast majority of supes are so comically evil, it reduces alot of Butchers actions from evil to "ehh sometimes I understand", its been a couple years since I read the comics, but it always stuck out to me how like 70% of supes are just rapists

@ComicBooksSuck @kenshirotism Not Super Duper. Or Kimiko. Or Maeve. Butcher is 1000% as evil as the Seven, maybe even slightly more. The first thing they show you about the boys is Rayner reading their files and it shows that the Boys as a group are every bit as violent and psychotic as the Seven.

This ultimately is what killed the show. Because they decided to make Homelander just "the Trump allegory", they couldn't let The Boys actually be evil. The entire point is that they are substantially worse than the Seven. And Butcher is a maniac barely in control of himself.

@jeangraysons Wrong: Every mutant should be retconned so that theyre somehow connected to the pimch dimension. Iceman? Channels heat into the punch dimension freezing the world around him. Magneto? Not magnetism, he just uses invisible punch force to move metal, its much cleaner that way

@Alter2220066 I basically immediately clock ottleys work anywhere specifically because of how he draws those very angular lips and teeth, same with Doug Mahnke where id a characters got pronounced gums i know its him. I actually like it, a shame the show doesnt maintain a lot of that style

@Avacodo89 funniest way to bring in regular TM is have him "buy" the costume from like, another villain. He trains henchmen and MCU was a redroom agent, he could plausibly "buy" the notoriety from training spies and just, pick up the mantle. dunno, its something and kind of in character imo
