@lizzyflanagan In both you learn how to throw an opponent and how to protect yourself when you get thrown. Also as someone who was on their college’s judo team are you able to notice subtle nuances in judokas turned wrestlers like “Gentleman” Chris Adams and Bad News Allen?

@lizzyflanagan I did a comedy festival in Portland, Maine years back and found a Tim Horton’s franchise in a google search but couldn’t actually find the location (I think the search result might’ve been outdated). Not being able to try some Tim Bits that day has been my “white whale”.

Just finished Brian R. Solomon’s book on Gorilla Monsoon (“Irresistible Force”). Now I don’t know what to do with myself. If only there was another readily available biography of a long deceased pro wrestler who at some point in his career went by the moniker of “Gino”!
