@CommanderHales1

Paradise Tower’s #1 fan. Random Doctor Who/Star Trek thoughts originally but I’m on my remedial cinephile arc lately.

@tombakertit @zagreus_sits I miss him but also it would feel cruel to wish he was around to have to suffer through shit like Space Jam 2.

Let It Be is probably my least favorite of the Beatles’ later period albums, but it does have the big plus of having probably my favorite George Harrison contribution to the group’s work.

@the_epic_groke The 2025 version is an absolute atrocity, for sure. Annoyed that the official video on YouTube now is “updated” with that version

I’m curious- out of all the post breakup Beatles songs, which is people’s favorite?

@Valuenetwork97 Free As A Bird does feel more like what might have been an evolution we didn’t get than something they actually would have done, but I feel like it’s a good capstone in how it spotlights all the members, and Now and Then has less of those positive qualities

@CommanderHales1 Real love is the only one of the 3 that feels like lost Beatles from the mid period. I genuinely adore it. Free as a bird is also Good but it feels more 90s (Aka more Oasis lol)… and then that’s my biggest problem with now and then: the modern McCartney sound infects the track

@LucyMorb27 In my opinion comes together by far the best out of all three- George’s part having the lead melody into that guitar solo is transcendent

@PetreRaleigh I mean it’s got some of the most visually imaginative and vivid source material you could ask for, it was sure to inspire some bangers

It’s always fun and sweet when Ringo takes the time on one of his lead vocal spots to give George a shout out before he starts his guitar solo

@StevenWallaby Loving to follow a show that exists almost entirely as crummy VHS rips, you can be grateful for so little where Siskel and Ebert is concerned sometimes

@jdrider02 Well the fact that the Kek Powerizer from Galidor isn’t particularly a big point of nostalgia from the theme is probably an indicator of how Smart Brick play will play out
