@ConsevativHero @ChicagosLoneCon But I do think it's more moral to abort a fetus that doesn't have self awareness capabilities than to experiment on a very much self aware non-human living being with unethical experimentation, simply because the experimentation is "life saving".

@ConsevativHero @ChicagosLoneCon Just know that the adoption and foster care system is horribly flawed and congested, which leaves children growing up in a horrible system, so I really wouldn't be talking about adoption unless you're actually capable and willing to adopt a child.

@ConsevativHero @ChicagosLoneCon People who are already born? No, because they are fully sentient and capable of feeling pain/stress. A fetus? Yes, if it means complications with the pregnancy or if the mother doesn't have the financial or physical capability to take care of the child.

@ConsevativHero @ChicagosLoneCon The "heartbeat" in question is nothing but electrical impulses that cause a clump of cells that will eventually become the heart to perform the motions of a heartbeat. At six weeks the heart isn't even close to fully developed.
