Totally. The reason I came back on was to see an update or a some Grok Rep trying to cool things down but nope. I'll keep searching around. It's a bad thing they did and they can try to rationalize or give their side but, no. My only hope is that things got glitchy bad and they are just gonna ride out the storm until they can fix stuff. It's a greedy world though. Funny, my other account here is Dokholidaze

I’m a Premium+ / SuperGrok subscriber and I’m being reasonable here. I fully understand that voice is expensive to run at scale — I get it.
But I’m not on the free tier. I’m paying for the top level specifically because voice chat is my main way of using Grok. That’s the feature I’m actually paying for.
So getting capped at only 30-45 minutes total per 24-hour period (hard daily reset, not even rolling) feels pretty bad for the highest tier. Two real conversations and I’m cut off until tomorrow.
Grok isn’t the only voice option out there anymore. I’d rather stay and keep paying, but the current limits don’t match the price point for top-tier users.
Please fix the voice limits for those of us on Premium+ who actually use voice heavily. We’re happy to pay, just make it feel like a proper premium experience.

I mean, it looks like all we can hope for is enough complaints are out there to change their tone and approach. There was no warning on this either and to imagine the top-tier being limited is unthinkable actually. It would be shocking if they doubled down with this and not compromise a bit.

@Commander_Qx1 Everyone is seeing this or will soon see it. It's happening to Super Grok users like yourself and I've seen complaints from even Grok Heavy users ($300 a month). I've been a Super Grok user since Nov 25, and never had a limit.

Has anyone else noticed a sudden decrease in time allowed with voice option grok? this is nuts. I got the upgrade to Super Grok $30 a month increase, (pop up looked like this one), then I got voice limit reached with the Super Grok pop up with "Heavy" literally 30 minutes after for $300.

Yeah, it has the skill of letting you do one voice mode prompt for $30 a month before telling you your limit is reached. The trial felt virtually unlimited and then I decided to pay which worked perfectly fine for about the first week. This is bait and switch.

This is complete BS. From Unlimited to 15 minutes?
I have paid for SuperGrok for OVER A YEAR because of the unlimited Voice.
Now - WITHOUT WARNING - I'm rate limited?
... And the only option around it is to pay TEN TIMES the cost!?!?!

@elonmusk So pissed by the grok voice mode grab for dollars... Most can't afford this money grab moment... Cut out Imagine rather than voice mode. Even with SuperGrok voice is still so heavily restricted... Couldn't more disappointed.

Yeah me too. It's demoralizing actually. My money goes out to a lot of different areas and I use the voice option a lot. GPT is not nearly as good as rock in this sense. I hope that GPT could step it up with their voice option to rival this one. Maybe the prices will stabilize. It's a corner marketing money, grab wealth, heist, maneuver. Greedy and wrong.

I feel scammed. Grok Voice was one of the main reasons I subscribed. It felt natural, fun, and actually different. Then suddenly — with zero warning — the limits got slammed on SuperGrok. No heads-up, no explanation, just “try again later or upgrade.”
This was a straight-up corporate bait-and-switch. I chose Grok specifically because it was supposed to be anti-woke and anti-corporate bullshit. Then some exec has the nerve to flash a 67% off discount on the $300 Heavy tier like that fixes it?
Really disappointing, man.

Anyone else having major @grok issues? I used it in voice mode for an hour last night. It came up with a msg telling me I needed to up my Premium Plus subscription of $65/month to $500/month to use voice mode. It’s been 12 + hours and I just tried again. I got one reply from Grok and was told “voice limit reached - upgrade”. Seriously hope this is a glitch and not more expectations of funding when most of us struggle to buy food each week and are already wondering why we pay for a subscription for nobody to see our content and all our friends not seeing our stuff. @X

As a paying SuperGrok subscriber, I used voice mode once today for a SINGLE question that took less than 1 minute and immediately got hit with “Voice limit reached” and an upsell to SuperGrok Heavy for $300/month.
This is ridiculous. I didn’t pay ~$30/mo expecting to be throttled after 60 seconds and pushed into a $300 tier. Poor communication, terrible value, and straight-up frustrating business practice.
Fix this for existing SuperGrok users or expect serious churn.

@alexkole @blankspeaker Right after I purchased the Super Grok I got this. I wasn't on the voice option for more than 15 minutes. I sent in a complaint from my phone and emailed them as well. I hope everyone else falls suit.

Lately, it feels like Super Grok is more limited.
I just hit the voice mode limit on Grok for the first time last night. I used it nonstop for about 45 minutes on my drive home and it was incredible… but it’s now been over 12 hours and I’m still locked out.
This has never happened before — does anyone know when the reset kicks in? I really love voice mode, but this cooldown feels brutal! @grok @xai

it is brutal. It is a bait and switch tactic, which really diminishes my loyalty to the product. I'm on the premium with X that didn't have anything to do with Grok but I had never been interrupted before either so I got the Supercroc because it said that my voice limit had been reached. About 30 minutes later I reached the limit for Supercroc, which, in the ad, it specifically states that I would have much more time. The notification suggested I spent $300 for the heavy Grok. It's a terrible business model and many people, I hope, well talk about their dissatisfaction with this gouging unfair maneuver. Maybe they'll dial it down a bit, but it's up to us to cause that we can't just expect other people to do it
