My asshole Rottweiler gets fed food that costs me no lie $250 a month for just HER…she gets the proper amount of vitamins and nutrients that have been measured out by a canine nutrition specialist…. She gets a balanced diet of raw meats, veggies, fruits, superfoods, fish oil and a probiotic every single day!!! She doesn’t have any sort of internal parasites. She sees a vet annually, and when she does she has to be muzzled because she’s a protection dog. And what drove me to spend all this money on her? She fucking eats dirt! I literally just caught her! My backyard has patches where she’s destroyed the grass and you can see teeth marks in the soil! I’m grateful she doesn’t have Coprophagia, which is when dogs eat poop, but DIRT?!!! And now she’s showing my baby German shepherd that eating dirt is normal!!! All 3 of my dogs get fed the exact same. So that’s $750 per month I spend on their nutrition alone!!!! Even the 2 cats get a non-processed/fresh food subscription! I am genuinely stuck here. Idk why she does this, and I probably never will. It reminds me of when bears prepare for hibernation each winter by plugging their guts so they don’t have to wake up and poop while they sleep!!! Am I alone in this, or does your canines eat dirt too?!
