@rsnball @fenroots01 @Ginger_Tucci Interest on savings is taxed (if above £1,0000p.a for basic rate taxpayer, £500p.a for higher rate). It will be taxed at 22% & 42% (rather than 20% & 40% for income).

I did that Monzo thing last year where they take the corresponding pennies for the day of the year, haven’t even noticed it going and now they’re all ‘you’ve got £700 in your 2025 penny account’ whaaaat? What a fun wee way to get a wee side pot of cash on the go.

UPDATE: I’ve received my £90 — not from Jeffery, but from his brother. Jeffery has been uncooperative, evasive, and made this entire process draining. I’ve not been compensated for the attempted scam, so I’ll be continuing all formal proceedings. @jeffbarnes360
