I spoke to a guy a few months back It was at a founders retreat He asked me “what’s your number?” The number that would be enough money for me to be set I said $5M-$10M He was shocked and said his was $100M, then he asked why mine was low My response was simple, I want a piece of land with my wife and kids I want to be able to watch them play in the yard and give them my time Coach their sports teams, go to their dances, drive them to college, walk them down the isle, and watch them have families of their own I don’t need $100M to do that (nothing wrong with wanting it, just not my ultimate goal)

The plan should be to get better over time. Not to be an expert when you start.
