Leaking my best ad of all time (Debt Relief in 2024, @KrsteKovaceski will kill me for sharing this). Everything else got a $15 CPL, while this was at $4 at scale.
Here's the breakdown: The ad opens with a clip of Warren Buffet talking about how people struggle with debt (not a deepfake, real clip).
This is relatable to the audience and also adds authority to the ad since Buffet is the only guy NPCs perceive as a "good rich guy".
It lets us borrow credibility without implying endorsement. Caption above increases hook rate by opening a loop.
It also helped that I used an old low resolution video since Meta didn't flag it.
Next it switches to the Vice Informer guy. This makes the ad look native since that was a very popular content format at the time, but it also adds intrigue since it positions the copy as "hidden information he can't reveal without threatening his safety."
He's labeled as an "ex-investment banker" which gives him credibility.
The Vice Informer guy talking about how there's a "surprisingly legal loophole the rich use to delete debt". This works because people that are low IQ think being in debt is someone else's fault and I'm affirming it.
They also hate the rich and wanna do it just to "get back at them".
The ad mentions Trump in an indirect way as "Mr. 45". For liberal audiences this lands as "of course that scumbag did it" and for conservatives this is "social proof".
Then comes a pivotal part of the ad: Him admitting that he's sharing this because it'll make him filthy rich.
It increases trust because people don't believe in selflessness as much as they believe in greed.
Then comes some social proof with future pacing and benefits.
Then some scarcity and a CTA.
Important note: The ad produced good lead quality because it called out the required debt amount. We ended up doing another variation with a more clear mechanism and "reduce debt" instead of "delete debt" which helped us increase quality.
Despite the aggressiveness, we ended up having the best quality on the V2 ad vs any ad on the account besides one BOF static.Leaking my most profitable ad of all time (Debt Relief in 2024,@KrsteKovaceski

The VSL has been DETHRONED!
Like you, I've used long form sales letters, VSLs, and webinars in my sales funnels for years.
But just like one day the VSL beat the written sales letter, something has FINALLY curb-stomped the VSL.
They're called GCPs.
Which stands for "gradual commitment pages."
Maybe the name sucks, but their results don't!
The reason they convert higher is because of a psychological trick that hijacks the brain and inserts a marketing argument like a trojan horse.
Like an advertorial the reader thinks they're reading just another article on the web.
Their defenses are down.
And then oops, too late.
I've used these GCPs quietly for well over a decade, but I have a different business model now so I'm fine with sharing it.
The first time I shared these at a millionaires mastermind in Las Vegas, the room fell silent when I shared the conversion numbers.
