We are a $700 tech conference... that is actually $49, and we donate 100% of all ticket sales to charity! Our whole approach to conferences and the conference experience is just VERY different because our mission is different. 125 Speakers this year! This is YOUR Community!

Just came up with the perfect session topic for @CommitYourCode! Cant wait to submit it this evening.

ONCE THE CFP CLOSED THE DMS ROLLED IN! lol OK if you want to speak at CYC I have extended it for 2 more weeks but that will be the limit. We will start reviewing the submissions that were already made to start getting feedback to people though. CYC26 is in 4 MONTHS!!! 😱

THE CALL FOR SPEAKERS FOR THE COMMIT YOUR CODE CONFERENCE IS OFFICIALLY LIVE! We will have 6 tracks and over 100 speakers! - In 2025 we had 860 in person and 8,100 attend virtually. - We had 125 Speakers - 37% of attendees worked in tech and it was their first conference ever!

Venue details are 99% locked in for #CYC26 👀. I know y'all keep hitting me up for details but I need it 100% before I announce it. Based on the discussions today, we are aiming for the first week of September but will confirm details soon! Once confirmed, I'll announce CFP!

I met a software developer with over 10 years of experience who said it was their dream to go to a specific tech conference but they couldn't afford to go. That's when I realized there are devs with experience that do not have access to resources because they are priced out. Here's what you don't realize. For the average person, Airfare, Hotel, Food, THEN you get to the conference tickets. A person may spend $2,000 - $2,500 to attend a $700 conference. So I decided to make a tech conference that is a $700 conference but make the tickets Forty bucks without them FEELING LIKE they are at a $40 conference. Meals - covered, 4 external events - Covered, 125 speakers and we donate 100% OF ALL TICKET SALES TO CHARITY! Forty Bucks! We had 860 in person and 8,100 online for our second year! This year will be year three! That's the @CommitYourCode Conference! Will we see you there? 🤔
