@Updates_SThings no one was laughing on that set for a whole year.

@NerdyEldritch @delphindae She was so high up out of the water so that she could be surfed on. Orcas that were waterwork trained I think are more careful around turns too.
English

@delphindae @CompleteBedlam Wait how does she do it that's different?
English

@CompleteBedlam The first one I noticed was Katina's fast swim and I had to just sit and stare at a wall for like 5 minutes once I realised.
English

@ShrimpyNook @JamesJeffcoat15 They got the ok from France and I think they technically can go ahead with the move but Loro Parque has talked about not moving forward without the OK from the Spanish government. Since then we haven't heard anything. loroparque.com/en/loro-parque…
English

@CompleteBedlam @JamesJeffcoat15 double checking I feel like im going crazy cause I SWEAR I heard abt a confirmation in may
English

@SeaofPower Oh goodness a repost? Well that holds me accountable to properly write the damn thing soon. I need to invest in a computer, the phone has limitations.
English

@SeaofPower It's just more material for my book that includes soooooo much about orcas in popular culture shaping how we perceive them.
English

@JamesJeffcoat15 Yep. honestly they should move way before a movie could be organized and filmed but at this fucking rate I'm starting to lose hope for them.
English

@JamesJeffcoat15 Loro Parque won't accept them without the Spanish government signing off on it and so far it's crickets plus the lawsuit over their previous CITES application things seem to have stalled yet again.
English

@CompleteBedlam Wait i thought they were going to Loro Parque
English

@dove_of_babylon It's progressive adaptations for speed but the at the price of extreme fragility.
English

@LuciaLobosvilla My Dad read it to me as a bedtime story lol.
English

Yes. I read it as a child. Because it’s a children’s book.
We keep lowering standards for children’s media and then wonder why kids can’t read or grasp complex concepts.
Running into words you don’t know is part of the learning experience. Not an insurmountable obstacle.
pete@pete_churchill
@bazashc Have you ever read it??? It’s 100% not a children’s book and whoever says that is lying to you. Not only is the vernacular dated and elaborate but the sentence structure and lengthy writing is often hard to get your head around as an adult. Love that book! but it’s not for kids
English

@orcinusleptonyx Seriously. This anti science anti reason stuff has to stop, it's hurting far more than it's helping.
English

@CompleteBedlam GENUINELY. wikie and keijo are still trapped in marineland we do not need this bs rn
English

@orcinusleptonyx Like we need more captivity bad, orcas go crazy and are miserable in captivity but the wild is sparkles and rainbows stories RN.
English

@CompleteBedlam EXACTLY WHAT IM THINKING, i want them to talk about the complexities of releasing captive orcas into the wild but i doubt theyll go that deep
