There is a point to putting characters in unfair scenarios, if not, the hunger games wouldn’t be a thing. It’s a story about navigating that unfairness. Which is interesting!

To say something constructive for once, I feel like the main theme of Goodbye Lara will be that "true love" can take many forms and the love you have for your friends, family, etc. is just as "real" as romantic love.
