This is the problem. Every time you try to talk honestly about the role of Islamism in stoking anti-semitism, you get called racist or divisive. But we will not solve the problems we have as a country if we cannot name them.

If you're so confident people now support rejoining the EU, have that 2nd referendum you so wanted and which went down like a lead balloon when Corbyn based his campaign on it back in 2019. You'll make Farage's day if you do.

Kemi Badenoch went on Nick Robinsonโ€™s show to discuss the national emergency facing Britainโ€™s Jews. Robinson wanted to drag it into Tommy Robinson instead. It was pure whataboutery from the BBC, and in doing so, he proved Kemiโ€™s point.

The Sectarian Wave Is Here. A Former Green Deputy Leader Calls It a Danger to Society A quarter of British Muslims have a favourable view of Hamas. They are more likely to view the IRGC favourably than unfavourably. Twenty one percent feel unfavourably toward British Jews, double the general population figure. Forty five percent believe Jews have too much power over the media. Thirty nine percent believe Jews have too much power over Parliament. Nearly a quarter believe violence is a legitimate response to burning the Koran. These are the documented results of a poll of 1,006 British Muslim adults commissioned by Policy Exchange. Dr Rakib Ehsan's conclusion is unambiguous. The United Kingdom is far from being a stable multi-faith democracy. Read that sentence again. The United Kingdom is far from being a stable multi-faith democracy. Now read what is happening to the vote. Muslim support for Labour has collapsed from 80 percent to 33 percent. Six in ten Muslim voters are prepared to back a pro-Gaza independent or the Green Party in Thursday's elections. The Henry Jackson Society has identified 171 sectarian style candidates standing across 31 councils, concentrated in Birmingham, Bradford, Blackburn, Tower Hamlets, Rochdale, Manchester and Oldham. These are not protest candidates. They are the advance guard of a structural realignment in British democracy that the political class is not yet willing to name. The Green Party's membership has tripled from 68,000 to 215,000 under Zack Polanski. The party's own former deputy leader, Dr Shahrar Ali, has identified that surge as Islamist entryism and described his former party as a danger to society. Two Green candidates have been arrested this week for allegedly posting content defending Hamas and endorsing ramming a synagogue. Both will still appear on Thursday's ballot papers. One finding stands out above the rest. Fourteen percent of Muslim voters polled reported having their postal vote collected by a political candidate or campaigner, almost double the general population figure and a practice that is now illegal. Courts have prosecuted it. It is happening at twice the rate in Muslim communities as in the wider population on the eve of elections in which those communities are expected to deliver transformative results. The parliamentary arithmetic is already set. In Bradford West the Labour majority is 707. The Muslim population is 71,280. In Birmingham Yardley the majority is 693. The Muslim population is 48,310. In Rochdale the majority is 1,440. The Muslim population is 31,067. In Ilford North the majority is 528. The Muslim population is 36,511. These are not marginal seats in the conventional sense. They are seats where a disciplined bloc vote, organised around a single issue, could remove a sitting MP regardless of anything else happening in the country. Thursday's local elections are the rehearsal. The general election is the destination. Dr Shahrar Ali's testimony is the detail that cannot be dismissed. A Muslim. A former Green deputy leader. Expelled by his own party for gender critical beliefs while the party gave a platform to a motion calling for the abolition of Israel. He says the Green Party has been infiltrated by Islamists, has formed an unholy alliance between Islamist entryists and gender ideologues and is a danger to society. He is not a right wing commentator. He is the party's own former deputy leader speaking from direct experience. Thursday's local elections are the rehearsal. The constituency table is the script for what comes next. The direction of travel is not ambiguous and the destination is not far. "Dr Shahrar Ali, has identified that surge as Islamist entryism and described his former party as a danger to society."

Jeremy Clarksonโ€™s column on Zack Polanski in The Sun is pure gold! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚ He said: "I do wish people would stop touting Zack Polanski as a serious contender in the next election. He isnโ€™t. My donkey is more likely to get elected." He then brings attention to the awkward way in which Polanski was seen running through conference hall: "The man isnโ€™t even built properly - a point that becomes clear if you watch that social media gif of him running through a conference hall. Tom Cruise he is not. Itโ€™s like his arms are where his legs should be and vice versa and as a result, he has the stupidest running style Iโ€™ve ever seen." Clarkson then comments on Polanski's desperate attempt to try a point the finger at the methods police officers used to apprehend the Golders Green terrorist: "And then thereโ€™s what he says. This week, he castigated those policemen who tackled the knife-wielding thug in London, saying heโ€™d seen them 'repeatedly and violently kicking a mentally ill man in the head'," Finally closing with: "And he thinks that normal people with fully formed adult brains will vote for him. Not a chance," Jeremy Clarkson is a national treasure and speaks with common sense. Neither of those qualities will ever be attributed to Zack Polanski. Well done Jezza! ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘

You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me. Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true. Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response. I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth. The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts. I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. It is targeted hatred and it is getting worse. So my message is simple. Not here. Not in Britain. And not on our watch. We need to stop the hand-wringing and start doing the right thing. That means standing with British Jews openly, unapologetically and without fear.

@EdwardJDavey, a few facts worth considering before blaming Brexit for everything. France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Belgium and the Netherlands are all contending with exactly the same problem. Mass uncontrolled immigration, overwhelmed asylum systems and the collapse of the Dublin Regulation that was supposed to ensure migrants claimed asylum in the first safe country they reached. The method of arrival differs because we are an island. The crisis is identical. None of them have left the European Union. Germany under Angela Merkel admitted over a million people in 2015, a decision that reshaped European migration policy, accelerated the collapse of the Dublin Regulation and signalled to people smuggling networks across the world that the route into Europe was open. The small boats crisis did not begin with the Brexit referendum. It began with that decision and the institutional collapse that followed it. The EU's own Return Regulation, voted through the European Parliament in March 2026 by 389 votes to 206, now allows detention of migrants for up to 24 months and deportation to third countries with which individuals have no connection. These are the same institutions that spent years criticising Britain's Rwanda scheme. They have reached the same conclusion Britain reached years ago and implemented it at scale. Brexit had nothing to do with their problem and nothing to do with their solution. On Zia Yusuf's detention centre policy. The legitimate criticism is whether locating facilities for political purposes rather than practical ones is the right approach. That is a fair debate. But the LibDems spent the coalition years in government overseeing a system that produced the current backlog, opposed every meaningful enforcement measure since and are now criticising Reform for proposing solutions while offering none of their own. Charlatan is a strong word from the leader of a party whose answer to the small boats crisis has been absolutely nothing for fifteen years. "Angela Merkel admitted over a million people in 2015, a decision that reshaped European migration policy, [...] and signalled to people smuggling networks across the world that the route into Europe was open."

Itโ€™s now clear that Sir Keir Starmerโ€™s premiership is at least as dishonest as that of Boris Johnson, but worse for being cloaked in an insufferable sanctimony. Thereโ€™s a remarkable play to be written about a man who rises to the highest political office by denouncing the most trivial lies of his rival about who ate what cake at a party of six people or however many it was, only to succumb to a far graver mendacity about his own political decision-making involving the highest diplomatic role in the land and associations with a convicted sex-offender. It would be Shakespearean if the characters involved werenโ€™t so insubstantial.

It was appalling because you were completely out of your depth ! Youโ€™ve absolutely no clue about the history of the Middle East / Persia and the Jews .. 2 million Arabs are Israelis ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ 1.4 million of them Palestinians .. they live there. No Jews live in Gaza .. they gave up the land 20 years ago to Palestinians who then voted in a bunch of terrorists called Hamas โ€ฆ spending ยฃbillions in aid digging an underground network of tunnels bigger than the whole of London .. Then spent the rest of the time sending missiles across the border at regular intervals before October 7th .. Go visit !! The creation of the State of Israel was agreed by the League of Nations (the UN) Palestinians are not refugees and most live in Lebanon and other Middle East nations.. So do your homework and stop following the Pro Pal sheep ๐Ÿ‘ .. most of whom are from the Sub continent of Asia ie Pakistan.. Weekly antisemitic hate protests for the last 2.5 years calling for the annihilation of all Jews and the State of Israel ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ have contributed to this dreadful state of affairs.. Weak Leadership in this @UKLabour Government and at the top of the @metpoliceuk are responsible the escalation of Jew hatred .. Islamic extremism is endemic and growing in this country ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Sharia Law is rife .. women, girls and gays have no rights ! The same in Gaza and the Islamic Republic of Iran etc. Jewish people here ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง are my neighbours and friends and do not need to justify their existence.. Our fathers and relatives fought during the War to ensure their safety and freedom.. So next time you think it appropriate to challenge a guest in the show - following yet another attack .. whose friends and family have been living in hell for the last 2.5 years on British soil .. Britain Is Under Attack on Multiple Fronts. The Government Cannot Respond. Here Is Why. Keir Starmer wrote the preface to his own Strategic Defence Review. His first duty as Prime Minister, he declared, is to keep the British people safe. Lord Robertson, the man Starmer appointed to conduct that review, has now said publicly that he is failing that first duty. We are under-prepared. We are under-insured. We are under attack. We are not safe. Those are not the words of an opposition politician. They are the words of the government's own reviewer, driven to break cover because the investment plan his review recommended was left on the shelf. Tom Tugendhat's assessment at Policy Exchange this week completed the picture. No integrated short range air defence protecting critical national infrastructure. No contracts or budgets to repair airfields if damaged or destroyed. Undersea cables carrying the vast majority of intercontinental data being systematically surveyed by Russian naval vessels. No NHS mass casualty plan. The Cold War infrastructure that provided one was dismantled in the late 1990s on the assumption it would never be needed. We now find ourselves in a world where it is needed and the infrastructure is gone. Charles Moore writing in the Telegraph is right that Britain has rarely faced greater danger and that our leaders remain woefully complacent. Where his analysis needs to go further is in explaining why. The complacency is not accidental. The paralysis has a cause. A government that cannot proscribe the IRGC because it fears the electoral consequences in specific constituencies cannot make the defence decisions Robertson recommended for the same reason. A government that dare not define the Islamist threat because it fears for its Muslim vote cannot enforce a single standard of policing, cannot name the grooming gang demographic, cannot stop the marches that built the permission structure for five attacks on the Jewish community of north London in six weeks. The domestic political constraint and the strategic defence failure share the same root. Electoral demography has made this government structurally incapable of acting in the national interest on either front simultaneously. Robertson described corrosive complacency. The more precise diagnosis is structural paralysis. The coalition that brought Labour to power in 2024 includes constituencies whose priorities are in direct conflict with the national interest on immigration, on Islamism, on Iran and on defence spending. Every decision that would make Britain safer carries a domestic political cost that the coalition will not bear. So the decisions do not get made. The SDR sits on the shelf. The IRGC remains unproscribed. The threat level rises to severe. And the Prime Minister visits Golders Green two days after elderly Jewish men were stabbed in the face outside their synagogue and calls it appalling. Russia is probing undersea cables and airspace. China is infiltrating higher education and infrastructure systems. Iran is directing proxy attacks on British streets and conducting assassination attempts against British citizens. The Islamist recruitment pool grows with every year of uncontrolled immigration from states whose official ideologies include eliminationist antisemitism and a hatred of the West. All of this is documented, assessed and known. The intelligence picture is not the problem. Lord Robertson used the words under attack. He is right. Britain is under attack on multiple fronts simultaneously, external and internal, strategic and civic. The government that should be responding to that attack cannot do so because the electoral coalition that keeps it in power will not allow it. A nation whose government cannot act in its own national interest because of who it depends on for votes is not a nation under complacent leadership. It is a nation under captured leadership. And that is a harder problem to solve than buying more missiles.
