The time has come for the grand unveil of the best Japanese stock I've ever published. Oricon (TSE-4800) The business economics of this business were truly exceptional, and very rarely have I come across a business model that I believe is truly S-tier. You guys know where to go! Comment "Me" to be sent the post and be entered into a draw to win 1 month of paid sub!

Heavily considering visiting Japan for 3 months to directly and indirectly perform "market research" haha ..and experience what digital nomad life in Japan is like Considering staying all 3 months in Tokyo or doing 1 month per city. What cities do you think I should live in?

Tsutomu Yamada, market analyst at Mitsubishi UFJ eSmart Securities, pointed out that "the opening of global flagship stores in Ginza, Tokyo, and other locations had led to high expectations for strong performance, so the selling pressure on the 13th appears to be due to disappointment." On the other hand, he believed that "the steady sales figures suggest there is no reason to be pessimistic, and the stock price can be expected to test higher levels in the medium to long term."

Tomorrow I'm publishing a deep dive on JINS Holdings (3046). JINS. A global SPA eyewear company built around direct owned stores across Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the US. The numbers tell a mixed story. Sales up 12.7% in H1. Same-store sales growth down sharply from last year's pace. Overseas profit nearly tripled. Growth now rests on two pillars. Flagship stores and unit price gains at home. Store expansion and turnaround progress overseas, especially in Taiwan and China. Is the domestic growth story running out of room. And is overseas ready to carry the baton. I break it down tomorrow on JPARCVUE. t.co/zZq4i1rTxo

I can't understand why something like a laundry machine isnt standard in an apartment in Japan. So inconvenient for foreigners or people who might move cities. If I was a landlord I'd just supply a washer cuz I dont want someone to mess around with the plumbing everytime someone moves in and out. Washers are so well made and cheap from companies like Haier I don't understand why u wouldn't dish out $500-$1000 bucks on a property worth $200k+ I also love my dryer. I get it hang dry to protect fabric, but I rather buy new uniqlo tshirts more frequently and save the time. I do hang dry my airism, im not a savage.

I might buy multiple pairs honestly, so glad to help out the sss, but ill be helping the food and konbini industry more haha Would love a local guide and a someone to say Kanpai with 🍻 Had a quick look on koyfin, if u are dependent on overseas growth and simply just china korea or taiwan, first impression is PE might be a bit high. But as a consumer, i love it. NI margins only 7% take my money.

Come save their domestic same store sales, growth there is slowing and they could use the visitors. Also good for our terrible yen. Let me know if you want a local guide while you're here.😄 Not sure now is the right time to get into the stock though. I feel the piece is a bit light on real insight. open.substack.com/pub/jparcvue/p… Spending this weekend digging into the gaming sector, hoping to get something posted. I'll do my best to make it a good one.

@ando34265 My eye exam is 100 bucks cad, thats 11,500 yen by itself. And i most frames dont fit my asian face shape, so traveling to JP for eye glasses I can self justify part of my flight ticket price 😄

@CompoundingUp That "value" is absolutely real. You can get a complete set (frames, lenses, and eye exam) for around 5,500 to 7,700 JPY at major chains here. When you visit Japan, you should definitely check out the Ginza store. It's the flagship store for JINS and the experience is fantastic.
