@KateEmerson88 It occurs to me now that your emphasis on justice is dead on; we support justice, not the person; you don't have to conform to any model of being in order to qualify for the justice and the protection of the law in an inclusive liberal democracy.

@HumanBeingFirst If Trump regains the presidency (always possible, regarded by some as likely) then it won't be China initiating conflict. But it may respond in unpredictable ways; remember, this is the ruling elite who drove tanks over student protestors in a non-crisis situation.
