@elviswjr @Its_EV_John @Skate_a_book That’s correct. From the user’s point of view, sometimes I disengage when I please. But from FSD’s you disengage because the system didn’t fulfill the user’s expectations. Like when you want to turn in the next light because you like the view.

@Comunitynots @Its_EV_John @Skate_a_book I think the reason we are disagreeing on this is how we perceive the software. FSD (supervised) is designed to be used when you want to use it. You can turn it on or off at will and that is by design. You can use it for E2E or you can turn it on when you don’t feel like driving.

In any system, every time an action is aborted is because of a critical failure. Either on prompting or execution. Specially on E2E systems such as FSD.

Sometimes people disengage just because they feel like driving or they have a preference for where to park, etc. it doesn’t mean they needed to disengage or that there was any critical reason. That’s one reason there needs to be a way to dismiss this popup.

I could easily justify that any disengagement I make is critical. And if everything is flagged as critical, then this data is basically useless. 🤷♂️
