We should acknowledge people who want the *electric* experience without the *Tesla* experience. Tesla vehicles have brought happiness and safety to millions of owners, undeniably. Plenty of other present and potential EV owners simply want an electric drivetrain in a 'normal' car, not a self-propelled iPad.
